This Orgonite inspired pyramid is created using a terminated Amethyst, Copper, Aluminium and Resin and a white with purple hue pigment colouring.

Orgonites are said to balance energy, otherwise known as orgone, chi or prana. Organic materials are said to attract and hold orgone energy while non organic materials simultaneously attract and repel the energy.

Orgonites are based on a principle of a 50 / 50 mix of resin (organic due to the fact it is based on petrochemicals) and metal shavings (inorganic). A quartz crystal is also added due to its piezoelectric properties which means it gives off a charge when it is put under pressure – which happens when the resin cures.

Due to the fact that the elements contained in an orgonite are constantly attracting and repelling energy a “scrubbing” action takes place and along with the natural charge that the crystal gives off creates a situation where stagnant and negative energy is said to be transformed into clean and positive energy.

The reported benefits of an orgonite depend from person to person but the stated effects can be

  • Better sleep and vivid dreams
  • More energy
  • Balanced moods
  • Decreased sensitivity to EMF’s (Electro Magnetic Fields) ie mobile phone masts electrical appliances. (place the orgonite on top of the appliance)
  • Spiritual and Psychological growth
  • Increased resistance to illness

Orgonites can also be used to

  • Deepen meditation
  • Boost Plant Growth (place at the base of the plant)
  • Remove negative energy in specific places
  • Strengthen intentions and visualisations

The size of the Pyramid is 10cm x 10cm x 10.5cm tall

Amethyst is a quartz and was used as a gemstone by the ancient Egyptians. Medieval European soldiers wore amethyst amulets in the belief it offered protection in battle and the belief that Amethyst provided healing properties .

Until the 18th century Amethyst was included among the most valuable gemstones (diamond, ruby, sapphire and emerald) however extensive deposits have since been found which has reduced its value and is now classed as a semi precious stone.

Amethyst crystals are still believed to help alleviate stress, helping to sooth the mind and emotions.  It is used in meditation to help inspire an enhanced meditative state. Its high frequency purifies the aura of negative energy or attachments and creates a positive shield of light around the body.

Amethyst is a great talisman for artists and writers amplifying the creative elements, it is also classed as the most effective crystal for healing people, plants and animals.

Amethyst is the traditional birthstone for February.
